Joe Pompei is an American inventor and the founder of Holosonics,[1] a company that has delivered techniques for precisely projecting sound using millimeter-wavelength sound waves using technology developed originally as part of his Ph.D. thesis at MIT.[2] In 2003 he was recognized as a "young innovator" by being included in the MIT Technology Review's TR100 list.
